Do you drive by the compact spaces?

I don't care if I park near the entrance of anything. I actually prefer to park further away. I get annoyed with drivers who will wait for someone to load their groceries so that they can park close to the entrance and don't care if they are blocking other traffic. By the time they finally get to park in that space, they could have parked four or five spaces down and be in the store already.

You will spot my truck everytime. I'm the lonesome one parked a mile away and happy to walk a bit. I have zero dings to date btw.. That's in 11 years and I LOVE my truck!

You are crazy doing that. You might get keyed or door dings. Plus someone might report it to the rent a cops and they call to get it towed. I like to park far way as possible with none one else near by but it never fails you end up with some jackwagon that parks next to you from time to time.

Compact parking space??? Surely you jest! Never! I don't even park in regular sized spots unless it's the ONLY thing available. I usually find an out of way spot where people aren't likely to park right next to me. My truck is now five years old and only has one parking lot ding that I know of. Anybody that parks their large truck in a compact spot doesn't take proper care of their truck and IMO is rude and deserves to have their truck towed away.
If you want to park close to the entrance and in a compact parking spot then buy a compact car! It's that simple. Hunting for a suitable parking spot goes along with owning an F-150 the same as using more fuel (than a standard car) does.

Original poster, I understand to an extent.
I live in NJ, every where I go the parking lots are PACKED full. You have no choice but to park somewhere. Half the time I see Escalades parked on sidewalks and taking up 2 compact spots.
If I can't find a spot, and there is a compact spot I can fit(or 2 spots), I'll take it. It's either that or don't park.

I've done something similar. A major grocery store chain around the Cleveland area likes to have reserved spots for pregnant women, and I would park there just for spite. Once a store manager told me to move or he would have me ticketed, long story short, he backed down when I asked for his name and store # so I can pass it on to my lawyer. Now that I have a handicapped tag, I just park there.
Speaking of handicapped tags, I once had an old woman give me the stink eye and say I should not park there, I told her that I had a tag, it was legal, and that's you F'n need to know, so mind your own damn business.
