285/65/20 and 2" level?

2008 4x4 screw. I know a ton of guys run this tire size with a 2.5 inch level up front, but I really don't like the look of a truck that sits higher up front and don't have the money to do an AAL or bigger blocks in rear. I hope to stick with 2" to level it out perfectly. I am really wanting to run the new BFG KO2 in 285/65r20. Just wondering if anyone could post pictures or direct to be some other members who are running this size with this size level in the 04-08 truck model. I am also interested if anyone has done 295/60r20 with this size lift.

As always, thanks so much in advance for your help.

I might not have a 4x4 but for my 2005 Screw 4x2 I used i believe a 1-2" lift shackle to even out the rear after putting in my 2.5" AS level. Like you I've seen tons of trucks that look nose high after doing 2.5" leveling up front. I'm running 305/55 20 Toyo open country atII xtreme. Hope this kinda helps.

No rubbing with stock offset rims and only slight rubbing on the front flaps with 1.5" bora wheel spacers.

is the new rubbing you have on the front flap able to be handled with some trimming? Ive been thinking of either 295/60s or 285/65s with 1.75 spacers (so I don't have to cut factory bolts)

They rub because the flaps are about 1/2" thick. But it's really only at full lock. I could probably trim the flap, or mount it under the fender to fix the rubbing issue. 285's wouldn't rub as bad I don't believe.

2004 Lariat 4x4. 2" level kit 285/65/20 BFG KO, not KO2's (taken 5-6 yrs ago. (sorry crappy cell pic)

285/65/20 on oem 20's (winter driveway wheels )

2 1/2" level kit over Bilstein 5100's set to 0 (hated the rough Bilstein ride) 285/65/20 BFG KO

285/65/20 on 20x9 XD Addicts.

The BFG's are a great choice. I prefer a taller, slightly narrower tire vs. a shorter wide tire thats why i chose these and ive always had BFG and never wore a set out lol. No rubbing on either setups. Tons more in my albums

2" HBS level kit installed, 285/65/20 BFG KO2's ordered and should be installed tomorrow. I will try to figure out how to post some pics of the results.
