2008 fordf150 stalling issues

I have 2008 Ford F-150, I'm having issues with engine stalling out and sputtering when idling. Drives fine with normal power only have issues when stopped or at idle. Changed throttle body still having same problems. Any suggestions, thx

Stacey, welcome to the forum! I've moved your thread into the 2004-2008 model year section. You should get better responses here than in the section set up for suggestions to improve the forum itself.

How many miles are on the plugs? You say you "changed" the throttle body - do you mean you cleaned the MAF environment and the sensor? The sensor itself is very easily damaged, is it possible this might have happened?

Hi Stacey, and welcome.

Is the wrench or check engine light on? If it is, did you gets the codes read? If so, post them.

It can help the troubleshooting process.

Truck has only 71000 miles on it, I was told changing throttle body would solve issue, $300 dollars later I have same issue with stalling or sputtering when idling but doesn't do it all the time

Whoever told you to change the throttle body led you very astray. Maybe cleaning it might have fixed it, but at least you know it wasn't the throttle body.

At 71k, it's about time for a plug change. I'd clean (NOT replace) the MAF sensor. If the new throttle body didn't come with a TPS, your original one may be bad.

If it has never been changed, Check the fuel pump drive module up above spare tire, will cause problems and then the truck will die and not start again.
