Truck's getting real noisy, need advice

So the past couple of days the truck has been making lots of noise when I turn. It's doing it mainly on right turns, there's groaning and squeaking noises when I turn. I took it into a shop when this first started awhile back and they didn't find anything wrong, they told me they couldn't get it to make the noises. Told me to bring it back in when the noises were more consistent and now it is. Any ideas on what it could be or what to look at? Any advice is appreciated.

Is the noise in the front or rear?

In the rear it could be traction lock clutches chattering when turning. A fluid change with friction modifier usually is the fix for that.

In the front if could be many things including wheel bearings, worn out suspension components, etc.

It's definitely front end suspension and its a 2wd so there's no need for friction modifier. From what I've found this morning it could be worn ball joints or control arm bushings. I'm thinking about getting some Moog uppers with the built in ball joint.

2wd or 4wd has nothing to do with this, friction modifier is used in limited slip rear diffs.

2wd can come from the factory with LS or non LS in the rear.

If your axle code on the door jamb sticker begins with a letter, yes you do. Look at my sig, I have LS. Axle code on mine is H9.

The uppers definitely make a creaking sound when going bad. Mine did. Try to rock the truck from side to side and see if it makes a sound. In replaced mine with Moog as well a couple years ago. No issues. Just make sure you add a pump of grease every oil change.

The UCAs and LCAs can both make noises when they are dry of grease and worn. Typical wear items. Look for cracks in the boots or grease leaking, and those are tell tale sign of "I need some attention".

Update: It was a bad front left hub assembly, when I was changing that rotor I heard little pieces just falling around in there. Replaced the front two with new pads and good as new, still have squeaky brakes but that's the rear rotors...I'll get to those eventually

yea I always found that frustrating on here. You'd research your problem, find a thread about it with the same symptoms, read through the whole thing only to find they never told the answer!
