cabin heat/cool blower problem?
The cabin blower doesn't to be working correctly. When the fan speed is set on level1 ,2, or 3 there is no discernable difference between them, with very little air being moved. Although when the fan speed is set to 4 it seems to be working fine. Why would this be?

You should be able to pick up an aftermarket replacement at your local parts store for under $25. Inspect the electrical connector for heat damage BEFORE going to the store as you may need a replacement pigtail also.
The replacement is easy once you find the part. Autozone has a bunch of online repair manuals which should help you, if you need them.

blower resister
I also have a 2004 ,, mine went out couple of years ago,, not blowing on 1 & 2
resistors were behind glove box,, just squeeze ends of glove box and it pulls out, there are 2 resistors on left side panel,, one for 3/4 and one for 1/2. forgot which but once you find rite one just pull n replace it ,, dealer wanted like $80 to do and part was like $16,, no brainer,, just find rite resistor to replace. should be somewhere on this site,, i found it and did it ,, good luck.

u r wrong
then they musta lied to me when i bought it new in 2004,, found the video in this site,, shows exactly how easy it is to do,, i would not lay on floor,, just pop out glove box,, like i said,, piece of cake,, just do it. this does not apply to your 2001 truck,, as he says,, 2004 up.
