Can someone with a stock height 2wd take a measurement for me?

On the front, from the center of your center cap to the lip of the wheel well arch? I never mesured before adding taller shocks and would like to know how much I gained since I'm going to change something. Thanks for your time if you can!

A v6 2wd reg can would be best, but any 2wd will give me an idea. Thanks again.

I will measure my stock 08 rwd screw this morning and post it. Great timing, I'm getting ready to install Rancho quick lifts and wanting to measure before and after...

Level ground, wheel straight ahead, center of cap (spindle) to bottom of fender lip is 19.75". This is for a stock RWD Screw w/ 5.4L.

Thanks so much for doing that for me! My truck is at exactly 23" from the center of the wheel cap to the wheel arch lip. I definitely want to come down an inch!

You'll probably be right under 22" with the quick lifts. I wonder, if I removed my 4x4 coilovers and went to quick lifts, if that would drop be down an inch? Maybe the Rancho guy will see this post.

This may or may not help. I have an Autospring 1.5" level in the front and mine measures exactly 23" center to fender. I had taken measurements prior to install a few years ago but cannot find them. I think I got close to 1 3/4" lift. My truck also has 265/70/17 tires.

Thanks! Sounds like the quick lift may be too much lift for me. Seems like a 2wd coilover with a 1" spacer will get me closer to where I want to be.

Also, if you're at 23" like I am, that must mean our lighter 2wd v6 trucks sit higher than a 5.4 2wd screw, as kevinpmac said his is at 19.75" and that must also mean your truck was around 21.25" prior to your 1.5" spacer. pretty big difference.

Id like to be at exactly 22 - 22.25" up front. That would be the ideal stance and also idea as far as UCA angles. Mine don't rub or anything and I've had this set up for probably 30k miles, but they still look a little severe.

Thanks for everyone's time.

Also,

Anyone have a stock hight 2wd reg cab they can mesure like this? Does anyone else have a stock hight 4wd reg cab they can also mesure? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to dial in the right height and there's not much specific info. I've been searching the web for days.

I spent the day installing upper control arms, lower ball joints, stabilizer bar kit, Rancho QuickLIFT fronts and 9000's on the rear. I am really liking the level look!

My front measurement went from 19.75" (per above post) to now 22.75" when measured at same level location. My front springs must have been tired after 106k.

Hi, thanks. But how did you mesure? From center of center cap to wheel arch lip will give you the best reading. If you were stock 2wd before, you could have been at around 19.5 - 20.5 before the level.

Doh! Yep, I'm tired.

Was 19.75" and now 22.75" center of cap to bottom edge of fender lip.

Haha! I was gonna say, your truck is really tall for having a stock suspension!
