IWE Solenoid
Good afternoon,
I have a 2004 F-150 5.4 with 79k. Just purchased the truck last January and its been a Nightmare. Anyway, I have the grinding sound coming from the hubs that dissapears when the truck is put into 4 wheel drive. Used to occur once every couple months but now its everyday. Can you tell me if Napa part number 600-3580 is the correct updated solenoid for this issue? I also bought 2 new "4 wheel drive actuators" Napa number 600-3608 ($119 a piece). The teeth were showing wear when I tore it apart last weekend but noone had parts in stock. SO, I spent the extra 240 but I am really thinking about trading the truck in and just returning those parts if the solenoid alone will fix the issue?
