Hey guys, so looks like my truck is taking a crap on me. I have an 08 f150 fx2 5.4l triton and I have the bad ticking noise. It speeds up with acceleration and people tell me its probably a lifter or cam phase. I also just got the trans fault code and o/d light flashing. Took it to dealer and they said that it was an over heat code probe need to change some bearing or sensor. Trying to decide whether to keep the truck or not but I think I'd rather keep it and find a good shop that will do the work and not rob me blind. Any recommendations or insight as to what the problems may be are welcome
