2007 XLT SCREW Adding OEM Fog Lights

Ok so i would like to know what else I need and exactly how to wire up my OEM fog lights. I already checked and I do not have the harness under the hood. I have the bumper and fogs already installed (fog lights not connected). Already have the headlight switch for fog application. So what else do I need or what do I need to do to get the fogs working exactly like stock? I have searched and really havent found any clear answers.

you'll have to run some wires from the battery to the fog lights, then through the firewall to your headlight switch. Get the wire harness off of the headlight switch (fleabay sometimes includes the harness with switch) and wire that to your new wires.

You should be able to yank a wiring harness from a salvage yard truck at least. I believe the truck should be wired for fogs (thanks to the headlight switch) at least up to the underhood panel. You just have to finish from there.

If not, you should just be able to run your own harness from the switch along that wire loom and to the engine bay as noted. The headlight switch already gives you power when you pull out for fog function, so no need to run anything from the battery itself.
