Truck finally has the stance I want (warning rake)

Just added 3" rear blocks and monroe reflex shocks. I have 2.5" of rake when not loaded. I normally carry about 500 lbs in the bed and really just like the factory rake look. I'm probably the only one on here.

I never planned to lift the truck at all, I just wanted a 4x4 stance but now I'm a little past that.

Originally I had 2" blocks and then added 4x4 sized coilovers in the front thinking I was going to gain an inch. Well, I gained two by doing that. Didn't like the look so I swapped out the 2" blocks for 2.5" blocks. Still wasn't where I wanted so now I added 3" blocks and I like it.

The old shocks had 92k on them. So it was way past due. My tire size in the pics are LT265/70/17

There is 300 lbs in the bed in there pics too.

Lastly, I have a set of 2" oem blocks and a set of 2" aluminum aftermarket if anyone needs them. Pm me if so.

For reference, my measurements from the top edge of the wheel to the wheel well arch are 14.2" front and 16.7" rear. Anyone know the mesurments of a 4x4? Just curious where I'm at.

This photo is what I'm taking about. http://imgur.com/WpwG5uG

Thanks!

My stock size was 235/70/17 and I have LT265/17/17 on there now in the pic. I definitely lost about 2 mpg with the bigger size and since I travel so much a bigger size would lower my mpgs even more. Plus, I don't care much for the stuffed look. lastly, I just got these Cooper discoverer at3's a year ago haha.

You are not alone! I am that "other guy" who likes the rake. Never really "got" the leveling thing.

Nice to not be alone haha.

To me, most that level end up even higher in the front anyway. Just doesn't make sense because a truck is made for towing and hauling and when it's loaded down, it looks like it's sagging and worn out.

Just my personal opinion. If someone likes that look, it's their truck to do as they choose and Id never tell them it looked bad. Because after all, it only comes down to personal opinions.

We are a minority, that is for certain - but not exclusively a 'silent' minority

I like a rake also, levelled mine up front, then did a 2.5 AAL in the back. Basically a cheap 2" lift
