rzalpine34's build thread

a little late but here it is...

Here was the truck completely stock except for the toolbox I installed the day i bought the truck

Next was the wheels, tires and leveling kit. I went with American Racing ATX series wheels, 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers and a Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit.

Then came the K&N 57 Series intake and the 8K HID's. I later upgraded to 6K HID's and PIAA auxiliary lights on an N-Fab light bar.

8K HID's

6K HID's

PIAA lights with N-Fab light bar

Welcome, and very nice truck!
When I'm out of college I'm getting me a long bed for daily driving, tastefully done.

thanks guys! the exhaust sounds great has a real good tone with the SI/SO. fitting the super 10 muffler on there with the force 2 kit was real easy as well.

That's alright, I'm a borla fan personally. But the flow masters don't sound too bad either.

It's always amazing to me what a huge difference a meaty set of rims and tires can do for the overall look of a truck!

took about a day and a half with hand tools and a hand from a buddy. ran into a few snags here and there but came out great.

Is that a 6"? you should get some plastidip and do your bumpers and valance, it cleans up the truck nicely. and get rid of those HIDs, stupid blinding, especially lifted.
