Truck has thrown code P0053 which means its time to replace an 02 sensor. According to the code it's location is Bank 1 Sensor 1. Wanting to confirm this location, is it passenger side closest to the motor (front of vehicle) or elsewhere?

Thanks, my search did not turn that one up, but it confirmed what I was looking for. It is indeed passenger side, front sensor.

 

do yourself a favor and rent this tool from your local auto parts store. its specifically for the modular engine. I tried swapping them without it and what a hassle. Rented the tool and was done in a matter of minutes.....it's tight in there.
