New member, new truck. Have questions about a level kit.

Hello there, I'm new here and just bought a 2006 F-150 King Ranch 2 WD. I really wanted a 4 WD but couldn't find one under my budget. I really love the look of the front level kit on them but I've had some people tell me nah don't do it is not even 4x4. Well my question is should I still do it and will it look good?? Your opinions thanks

Yes, it will look good. If you like it and want to level your truck, go for it! Just remember bigger wheels and tires= less mpgs. Good luck!

Yes, it will have a nice stance to it after the level kit.

I put a 3" Fabtech lift kit on my old 2002 xlt 2wd and I loved it, and didn't care what other people thought. It's your truck. Do mods that excites you, not stuff that pleases other members!

Yeah I know is just one of those things I thought would not look ok. Would you recommend removing the running boards and adding some chrome ones?

I know there're a little pricey, but I think some AMP research power steps. They automatically retract under your rocker panels, and come out when you open the doors. It'll appear that your truck has more lift to it while giving you running boards so you can get up into your truck. If you are on a budget, check out N-fab, they have a lot of great options to replace your running boards!
