Just bought 2005 King Ranch 2wd with 5.4 engine. It did not come with an owner's manual. How do I get one?

Try googling it. You used to be able to download them free from Ford.

I downloaded one for my 2007 (came with a hard copy too) a few years ago just to have on the PC for handy reference purposes. You should at least do that ..... and maybe look on Ebay?

I know it's of little value now to you, but someone has that packet. When I look to buy a vehicle I always look for it and if not present, I ask about other keys / fobs / missing books. Vehicles these days are complex enough to need that book .... but I have always looked for it and so far, it's always turned up when $$$ was hanging in the balance .... and I'm only 60.
If they say "Oh, it's in the house, I'll get it" .... great (many will keep it as a souvenir if not asked for).
If they say "I lost it but they are easy to get" .... I say "Great, then you'll have it when I come with the check?"

When I bought my 2007 FX4, it had the books .... but only one ignition key and key fob. I asked the salesman about it and he said the extras were in the safe. I called the next day to remind him I was coming to get the truck in another day and he said he couldn't find the extras but that they were easy to get. I said "call me when you have them". He called back, they found them fast enough.

The local salvage yard has a large bin with many of the owners manual packets that they sell for a buck. You might want to check there for a set.
