04 Needing help with rough idle, stall, sputter, etc.

I bought a 2004 Ford F150 XLT 5.4 3V 4x4 Crewcab with 124,000 miles about 4 months ago. After the first month all was fine, but those were the good old days. Driving along I got a weird shutter and threw my first check engine light. Ran the codes and came back a few Cam Pos. errors.
Don't have alot of money, but I'm pretty mechanically inclined.

So I replaced the cam sensors and no real change. Even felt it got worse in MPG and now shuttering at 40MPH.

Now I can the codes again. Here they are.
1.P0011 Cam Position Time Over Bank 1
2. P0021 Cam Position Retard Bank 1
3. P0022 Cam Position Retard Bank 2
4. P0305 Cylinder 5 Misfire Detect
5. P0316 Engine Misfire on Start Up 1st 1000RPM
6. P0340 Cam Position Sensor @ Bank 1
7. P0345 Cam Position Sensor @ Bank 2

Now thinking about changing both VCT solenoid and all COP's/ plugs in that order.

Am I thinking in the right direction or am I completely off base?? Please help.

Sounds like VCTs are your first step. And change your oil using only a motor craft fl820 filter. And retest
