2006 f-150 blower resistor-blower high speed only

I have a 2006 f-150 with the automatic blower control. The blower motor only runs on high speed and can't be shut off. I read another thread showing location / replacement of the blower motor resistor with pictures, but when I looked behind the glove box, mine looks different and the resistor held by two screws is not there. There is a larger component inside the blower duct which slides into tracks and is held by one screw. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, BCsupercab.

I think with the auto climate control your resistor is directly behind the units control box and the dash needs to be removed to change it.

Of you have auto climate control, the C271 front blower motor speed controller is behind the passengers kick panel.

Thanks for everyones help. The blower resistor was located directly behind the glove box. It slides into an opening in the ductwork and is held in by one screw. There are 4 wires (three circuits), and only one circuit had resistance. I replaced it and all works fine. Install took 15 minutes.
