Windshield washer nozzle not working

Since July I have had an issue where my drivers side windsheld washer nozzle is not working, kind of spits out a very little amount of fluid, but not enough to even reach the windshield. Pump works fine, passenger side works fine.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I got a knitting needle and tried to clean it out, but there is no evidence of plugging. I dont think it is the line either, as no obvious leaks. I have lived with it, but with winter approaching, it's not going to fly in the cold...

I have never had much luck trying to clean them out as there is an elbow turn in there wher it stops up. I went to the dealer and bought a replacement. Just takes a few minutes to replace but it is not cheap. I think it was right at $10.

You can pull it off and soak it in some CLR for a while and flush it out or use air in reverse through the nozzle.

A needle won't do much, but a thin flexible wire can bend and possibly help.

So this is a factory only part? If so, how much of a pain in the *** was it to do?

I blew mine out on my chevy with compressed air not sure it would work for yours. I will bet that there is some calcium buildup inside especially if you fill it up with the water hose like I do.

Hmm - being in Florida I bet you use plain water - that will do it!
