Do you have a 2004 Heritage (1997 - 2003) body style? If so, they do not have the FPDM. If you have a 2004 new body style, your truck has the FPDM and they're all located in the same spot which is on the drivers side right above / behind the spare on the cross member.

Not a problem. Try posting the issues you're having in the 1997 - 2003 section and see if anyone has any ideas. Best of luck.

I have to agree with fordhound about his 2004 but mine is a new style. I also have a 2004 (new style) F-150 HD and it does NOT have one either. My build date is 8-1-2003. It is not shown in the Ford F-150 manual either for 2004. So I guess I don't have to worry about it rotting away.

Does your fuel rail have a test port and a fuel pressure regulator? If so, it does have the old return system and no FPDM.
