Squeaky suspension maybe?

Squeaky suspension maybe?
Lately, every time I go over a bump or something of that nature, there is this obnoxious squeaking noise that is driving me nuts. I thought perhaps it was in the rear shocks? So I jumped up and down in the bed and nothing.. Perhaps it's the front shocks? Loose bolt somewhere? Any ideas? This afternoon or tomorrow morning I'm going under with some grease and going to check all bolts and possible squeaky areas, and lube them well.. Any ideas, similar problems would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

If they're the original stock ones they're probably the sealed.....you can use a grease gun with a needle and puncture the boot and fill them.....but if they have been dry for awhile they might have been worn....your best bet is to replace them......the replacements will come with a grease fitting....

My truck would squeak over speed bumps. I thought it was a ball joint up front or something in the rear. This went on for about 3 months before I started hunting it down. It turned out to be the tailgate!! A little spray oil on the latches and its silent. I couldnt believe the tail gate was the culprit.

Glad to hear you got the brakes. Did you have the brakes done or do them yourself? If so, how did the rear brake shields look? When they rot out some they squeak when you hit a bump, and thats the only time you can tell that is the problem unless you visually see rust around the mounting bolts.

Had them done, no idea.. The squeaking had been happening before I got the brakes done. Still haven't made myself go out their to hunt down the sound.. hopefully one day this week.. Keep ya posted.
