Truck Wont start ran out of gas put gas in and still wont start

anyone know how much a fuel pump cost for our trucks my shop said in between 250 and 850 thats nuts

Man you got run over.. I've never been to a shop (including the Nissan dealership I work at) that makes you pay the diagnostic fee if you have the work done with them.

I'd try fixing the fpdm before I bought a pump, also have you replaced the fuel filter?

fuel filter is new nand my grphon programmer is throwing 2 codes that is leading me towards the pump one of them says fuel pump something dont remember what it said and the other said fuel rail something as well i'm haveing it towed to my drive train shop tomorrow they are gonna drop the fuel tank and put a new pump in it ive checked everything else everything else is fine and dandy

got a price on a pump 415 bucks OEM fresh...what a rip off

Its the fuel pump driver module, gaurantee it, don't put the pump in it you're throwing money away, mine threw 2 codes, 1 was fuel pump driver module offline and the other was fuel rail pressure too low

the truck is getting towed toda when they pick it up i'll tell the guy to check that module b4 h does the pump i removed the spare tire so the shop doesnt have to when they check it.thanks for all the help guys i'll keep yall posted

sorry for the late reply yall been real busy with working on my new truck....it eneded up being the fuel control module that thing was wasted when the shop took it off it was completly coroded through i could see the computer chip inside...so the new one came with studs that drill into the frame and the new module sits on the studs...PERSONALLY I THING THAT FORD SHOULD HAVE RECALLED THIS and i shouldnt have had to pay 160$ for that part
