Looking for replacement cab corners for 04 S-Crew

I've looked everywhere I can think of, and can't seem to find a listing for replacement rear cab corners for my 04 S-Crew. I have rust that is slowly coming through from the back side... I took it to my body man and asked him to repaint the grey around the bottom of the truck, and to repair the corners... He looked into finding them through his sources and the only thing he could find was for $1200 and i think it was a whole side repair panel... Any help would be great?!?! I don't want to have it repaired only to come out agian in another couple of years... would prefer to replace them with New Steel...

Are there any online car recyclers that may be able to get from a southern wrecked truck???

Thanks in advance, Jamie

Any idea what caused your cab corners to rust out in the first place?

I'm having the same problem and I don't know where the problem is coming from. I've already had them repaired once...

My guess would be a leaking glass or 3rd brake light.

I'm going to check the third brake light tonight. That might be the issue.

Well normally when the 3rd brakelight goes, you notice the headliner stains before you get rust. I can't imagine it being anything other than the back windows though.

Bump.

Anybody have any luck here? Just noticed both of my rear cab corners have little bubbles in the paint. Would like to take care of it before it spreads.

No luck even with online junk yards. Might have to go visit a few local places to see if they will let me cut into a cab. I cut the the visible rust out but there is rust way up inside the corner between the inside and outside skin where I can't get. It's just a matter of time before this become a serious issue. I'll probably be cutting the insides out to get to the rust this fall.

Previous poster was in April so in case "renaud" is still interested, I suggest LMC Truck for stuff like this.

Same thing is happening to my 2004 s-crew... it is a common problem. water is coming in from where the cab corner meets back wall of cab. There is a large hole where the panels are joined that lets water that kicks up from the tires collect and rust the cab corners inside out. Due to the fact that is has no where to go. I wish i would of found this hole when i bought the truck and sealed it. I found a great website I plan on ordering my replacement cab corners and probably a rocker panel too.

Good luck, Hope this helps
