Replace map light in front of sunroof?

I just noticed my driver's side map reading light (the one in the headliner you push on the lens to activate) must be burnt out. It looks like a fairly simple bulb replacement, but I thought I would ask around to see if there are any pre-cautions that need to be taken when replacing this small lamp inside the lens.

I don't like tearing plastic molding off unless I ask about the procedure first.

Both lamps have a plastic ring (molding) surrounding the lenses and there is a sunroof switch between them.

Looks like I need to pop the plastic ring off and then look inside to determine how the lenses/lamps come out so I can replace the driver's side bulb.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The whole assembly should pop down and allow you to change the bulb. It isn't any different on a sunroof-equipped vehicle I don't believe.

Yeh, the entire assembly comes down from the roof and the bulbs are accessible from the top.

Be careful when pulling/prying though, don't pull down too fast because you will pull the wires. The bulbs just twist out.

Perfect. I found the bulb wire was not making contact. So I rest the wire and it now makes good contact and works fine. Thanks for the advice.
