It can be higher with one of these in a 9" and some PTM paint. I'm probably gonna get one cause they can be fully dissembled and the blue portion painted.

KMAC, that would be a great way to do it. I think it just climbed the ladder a bit. I would still like to get wheels first, and even that's dropped a few pegs. Gonna get it tuned up and running right first. Not that it's terrible, just more of an annoyance.

Definitely take care of the mechanicals before aesthetics. Then I'd do wheels first. Always easier to part with the cash for small mods later haha.

These are the future of PTM emblems. I wish I had known about these before I spent $80 a piece on mine, cause my front one is already messed up. Bout damn time Ford changed the design on these so they stop looking like crap after a few years.

Paint matched my mirror caps for my new (to me) towing mirrors. Need to be wet sanded once they cure and re-cleared though cause crap got in the paint.

Those tow mirrors will suit your truck great. Especially ptm'd.

I have everything ordered to fix the "tick" aside from cams. Those will be ordered soon.

Thanks, I'm hoping so! Didn't want to buy them so soon, but had to scoop them up for $220 shipped from a member on here.

Is this not the second time you've replaced timing components?

Well, I've changed a few rockers already. But that was only on the drivers head. I also noticed some slight wear on one of the cam journals.

But I have done the phasers, chains, guides, tensioners and solenoids. Partially due to lack of knowledge, and full diagnosis, I never looked at the lash adjusters, rockers or cams then. It was since then that I tore into the drivers head for the rear intake rocker of the #3 cylinder. Now, since I'm opening it up for the third time, I am going to replace everything else. I just haven't decided on cams as of yet. I would love the frpp hot rod cams, and have a guy local who can tune them. I just don't really know if that's worth the hassle. May just stick with stock replacements.

no nothing like that, just done with that truck for a while now that my good truck had her few immobilizing mods/maintenance finished.

did get her new rotors today with bearings (damn the deal on those), so she won't be squealing when she does get back on the road. good time to do a little other work on her too, now that she's not depended on. less rush.

Well that's alright. Nice when you have time to complete mods/repairs.
