If you have the "auto temp" A/C, you can run this diagnostic check;

If the blend door actuator/motor is bad, you can replace it without removing the dash. Remove the radio and the glove box to access the part. The spaces are small, and it's tedious [screws are hard to get to], but the motor can be replaced in about an hour or so.

The passenger side can be done if you have the hands of a 5yo...or a lot of patience....been there done that.
