Those of you that have installed Dynatech headers on your 04-up F-150s, how long did the install take you? I don't have but one day, maybe a day and half, to do this right now and wondering if I should put it off until I have free weekends again. My truck only has 3,500 miles, so I don't think I'll have issues with broken studs or parts that won't come apart. I'll be installing a new cat-back exhaust system along with the headers. If there are any "gotcha's", I'd like to hear them.
are they long tubes? my pace setters were a B^$&H on the passenger side. i doubt any other long tubes will be much easier, theres major clearance issues between the transmission bell housing and the fire wall. it took me hours of jacking the the motor, prying, and cursing to get them in and lined up.
shorties would probably be pretty simple, mid tubes, i dunno...
I think Dynatech only makes a long tube header for our trucks. I have a ported intercooled Roush supercharger waiting to be installed. I need a few days off for that install. Seems this weekend is getting shortened because of work anyway, so it looks like I have no choice but to wait.

I did the Pacesetter's in about 8-10 hours and they were $1000 less than the dynatech's the headers are a pain in the ass I would start on a friday on the passenger side and try to get done by sat eve, hit all the bolts with some PB or WD-40 the night before and good luck
8-10 hours would make for a long day and short patience. I think I'll wait until I have free stress-free weekend. I'm just anxious to get all these parts on the truck. I have shorter projects I'll substitute.
It took me about 14 hours to install my Dynatech LTs. I did mine by myself in my garage with the front on jackstands. It was also 32 degrees outside those two days. Just a tip, jack up the right side of the engine block instead of removing the starter. It's much easier and faster.
GerRod, you could drive on down to Lafayette and give me hand. Thanks for the info. 14 hours would put me in bind. I doubt I could finish, even in balmy 80 degree temperatures. Thanks for the tip on the starter.
