Talking Bilstein 5100's, 35's and window tint!

Okay so I'm reasonably satisfied with the F150 for now. Hah!
So I just added Bilstein 5100's (fronts are set to 2" over stock), 35x12.50R18 BF Goodrich KM2's, and 15% tint all around, including over factory tint.

I love it! It sits about 3.5" higher than stock, it rides GREAT, and the tires fit PERFECT. I was told by most people that 35's would rub the lower control arm at full lock, but the BFG's fit just perfect and don't rub anything in either direction, from lock to lock. I only have about 75 miles on the tires so far, but hit plenty of driveways and bumps and anything else and nothing rubs yet. They are fairly quiet (for an M/T). Power loss is less than I expected, in fact hardly noticeable so far other than a downshift on a long hill where it used to hold O/D, no biggie.
Here are the pictures. I'll add more later when the weather is better, and hopefully I can find somewhere close to get it dirty.
Sorry for the odd coloring in the pictures, it was a dark overcast and rainy day today.

Here it is after I bought it.

After the Bilsteins, steps removed.

And now.

Yep, I hate my driveway too.
You should see how you have to 3-wheel the Jetta at an angle to get it started up the driveway, lol.

I'm not a big fan of the roush grill to be honest, but I do like the black headlights. Definitely a future mod. I may keep an eye out for used headlights and paint them black so I don't screw up mine, hah!

I had a shop install the shocks. I moved across the country three months ago and a few things (like my floor jack and jack stands) got left behind. They charged me $115 for install and alignment, but during the install the tech ran the shock (or impact wrench) across the right outer CV boot. I found two tool marks and a hole in the boot when I got home and inspected it. Took the idiots 5.5 HOURS to replace the boot. Just a heads up, ask them to be cautious of that if someone else installs them, I've heard of others doing this as well.

The shock ride excellent. At first they were a little firm, but they should be. Not rough, just firm. After the heavier 35's, they ride great. The firmer valving works awsome with larger tires. A few years ago I had Bilstein HD's on a ranger with 33's, and these ride much better.

I'm glad I saw this because I was really debating between bilsteins and 2.5" leveling kit and my truck is raked pretty bad too for a 4wd and I think I'm gonna go with the 2.5" leveling kit now, just to get the front a little higher. This is the same set up that I wanted though.

Looks super clean and very sharp. I'm gonna go with the 2.5" leveling kit and then a 3" block in the back and then some km2's I'm liking how it looks alot. Truck looks good!
