Circle Slowly To Calibrate

I'm getting this message about every other morning when I start the truck.

Why am I getting the message. I've done the circle thing twice until it said Calibration Complete. Is there a right way to circle? Do I just ignore it? Is my battery weak.

It has to do with your compass. Check your owners manual.

I was just going to start a thread about this -

I'm having the same problem with my '08, but it only happens once in a while.

The first time it happened, I thought it was because I had the truck parked in the barn, but the next day it was fine.

Then I thought that is only happened when I used the remote starter, but the other day it was fine using the remote.

So, I am kind of baffled also.

That's what I'll do, take some time, set the zone and manually start the calibration process.

I was doing the calibration down the road under the high voltage wires which the manual says not to do.
