Rough idle in park only
Today I noticed that my '04 5.4L has a rough idle when the transmission is in park. If I stay in drive with the brake applied it's smooth as silk. What should I look at to clear this up?

How many miles on it? When was the last plug change?

I'm also assuming no codes have been thrown.

Check your PCV valve and your idle control valve try to unplug the valve and then plug it back in and see if a code pops up? just a suggestion..

The 04 doesn't have an IAC, it's electronic throttle.
