my first f150

Hey there I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought my F150 a couple days ago. Its a 2008 STX model. Supercab. Power everything. Tow package. Nothing too special but I love it. Im only 19 years old and currently in college. I bought the truck myself and will be working my a** off to pay for it, but to me its worth it. I previously owned a 1999 S-10 which was dropped and completely customized by me. With the new truck I plan on going in the other direction and lifting it. Ill probably be deciding between going with a leveling kit and a set of 33s or possibly a 6 inch lift with 35s. Not sure yet but thinking about it everyday. Hopefully in a year ill have a lift and tires. Ill keep yall updated. Feel free to give me comments or suggestions. Glad to be a part of the community

Had the STX sticker removed immediately.

\/\/()\/\/ nice truck... nothing wrong with a STX 4x2... nice rear wheel drive, extra space in the back with that comfy scab. You can't beat that price either. Plus the v8 and everything... nice true rear wheel drive vehicle.

Enjoy it man... and don't whine about the gas prices, just enjoy the ride... it beats driving a 4-banger front wheel drive.

I didn't know you could get a STX with fog lights, rims and power

sure that isn't an XLT

Eh, I wouldn't complain... I got a set of Ford's fake chrome rims, different tires, and different seats than what was on the sticker... so why complain right!?

Heck, I even got $325 from my dealer from short changing me on AT tires...

I agree. I just thought the STX was a little bitty stepping stone up from the XL. his truck looks more like XLT though to me

Congrats, and welcome. As stated you will want to mod like crazy if you hang around here to much. But either way enjoy the truck!
