BFG All-Terrain T/A ko New sizes --

BFGoodrich has several new sizes of the All-Terrain T/A ko on its website.
Anyone seen these mounted on an F150?
305/65R18
325/65R18

There are lots of other new sizes listed as well. I'm interested in seeing these two sizes on a truck.

I don't think they are available yet, even though 4WheelParts have been advertising them all summer. I called my local retailer the other day and he says they can't get them yet.

He told me to call back at the end of the month but everything they have been told, it will probably be end of October.

Yoman,
I'm still waiting on pics of your set up. You've had enough time to show them.

sweet, but....

I saw the add too. I am psyched. I don't want to replace the stock 18" Ford Wheels, but hate the BFG Rugged Trail tires. Love BFG A/T's...after 5 years on a '95 Pathfinder and proper rotation, looked brand new. After 2 years on an '02 FX4 Ranger, looked awesome. Can't say the same about the Rugged Trails after 2 yrs on my '04 FX4 SC. But...the kicker is gonna be the price. If people rush out and buy them for $275-$300 a tire, they won't drop the price. If people don't buy them, the price will drop. This release of the new sizes for the 18" tire is intentionally timed. 2004 F-150 owners with Rugged Trails tires will be coming due for new rubber...they are hoping you and I will pay the premium price on the BFG A/T's to replace the Rugged Trails. I personally haven't decided what I am going to do. Trying to save up for that new Mustang, but want the beefier look on my Truck. I will probably wait until after Christmas and see what the prices do and maybe try to luck into a sale or rebate. I definitely would love to see the pics of the new BFG A/T's on the 18" stock rims.

They are way late then. I put 3 sets of tires on my 04 with under 35,000. I love new tires though.

Yep...

For many guys..yep...too late...I got the same responses a year ago from ProComp, BFG, and ProTrux Marketing and Customer Reps when trying to find out about upsizing from BFG Rugged Trails to bigger BFG A/T's...they all said that there wasn't enough demand (for the new sizes they just released) and that they typically don't deliver new product sizes until product replacement is necessary..in this case, they said 2 to 3 years for the BFG Rugged Trails. BFG stated new product development/release is dictated by a predetermined product replacement cycle. Been waiting since 2004 for these dang tires from BFG...I sure hope they end up retailing cheaper than the adds I am seeing now.

Think the 305/65R18's clear fenders, suspension, etc on an FX4?

Minimum rim width is listed as 8.5" which is a full one inch more than the stock wheels, too. Won't the narrower rims cause wear problems?

I've got 36,000 on my Rugged Trails now and they still have some life yet. I was looking at someday going with the AT KO 285/65R18's but I'd consider going to 305's IF I wouldn't have a clearance problem or a wheel fit / wear problem.

I guess maybe no one knows yet, though, if the tires aren't available!

The BFG website shows that the 305/65/18 measures 33.7" tall, I'm not sure they would fit without rubbing unless you install a leveling kit.

But in the end, they are still that soft compound that doesn't wear worth a crap, fills up with snow and mud, and makes a lot of noise.

Glad you guys will be buying them, that leaves more Revos for the folks like me that want a great tire, not just a big tire.
