Actually the Terra Grappler is offered in a 325/60/18 which is about a 33x13x18.

The 285/65-18 BFG AT-KOs would fit a stock FX4 without a leveling kit, right? They are only slightly bigger than the stock 275/65-18 Rugged Trails that come stock.

That's what I'm planning when the OEM tires wear out.

The 285/60-18 is actually about 1/2 inch shorter than the OEM 275/65-18 so you should not see any loss in mpg's or performance.

The BFG AT KOs are 285/65-18 and are 32.8 inches, while the BFG Rugged Trail 275/65-18 is 31.9 inches.

The BFG site shows FIVE different tread patterns for the Rugged Trails, depending on which vehicle manufacturer or replacement tire it is!

The Terra Grappler AT 285/60-18 is 31.4" tall. The oem 275/65-18 are 31.9" tall. Nittos are 1/2" shorter than original tires.

yeah, his truck looks REAL good...that's the look i'm going for.

think the 35" grapplers would fit? i think if the muds rub, the grapplers would rub way worse with those huge side lugs....

I'm getting 275/70R18 Cooper Discoverer ATR's installed today. This is a 33" tire that has a semi-aggressive tread pattern. If you want more aggressive you could go with a Discoverer ST in the same size or a BFGoodrich AT in 285/65R18. I also like the looks of the brand new GoodYear Wrangler DuraTrac, but haven't heard much about them since they just came out a few weeks ago. All of these tires will fit a stock rim and will not rub if you have any kind of leveling kit installed. 33's may fit fine with stock suspension too, but I'm not positive on that.

Oh yeah, I ended up going with the ATR's because they were a few hundred dollars cheaper than everything else and I do most of my driving on the streets. Also, I used to buy the Discoverer AT's and never had any problems with them.

I ran across this site while researching tires and they seem to have a large selection at great prices. www.tires-easy.com

Edit: I didn't realize this thread was so old until just a second ago. I'm sure the guy could have used this information about 3 years ago, ha.
