Same great service -- different website because Ford was afraid that someone might actually get the same part cheaper than they would from the stealership with better service... I'm pretty opinionated sometimes and this is one of those battles where it seems Ford probably had bigger fish to fry but went after a minnow. I know... I know... it's all relative and such but, come on... someone that's contributing to your bottom line? Why would you go after that guy?

The VSM controls the RKE and the power locks over the UBP communications network in the vehcile. The UBP network is also used for the Info center in the cluster on the Lariat ( and does the FX-4 non Lux model have the info center ? ), and for the EATC.
This is seperate from the CAN and the ISO Comm network.
Like that one, your truck has 3 seperate networks in it.
Good ole' drive by wire, next the steering wheel won't actually be attached to the front wheels

The 2005/06 Shop Manual has no reference to a BSM, instead uses the term VSM.
The 2004 Shop Manual has no reference to a VSM, instead uses the term BSM.
What the stickers on the object are, could be anything. The VSM removal procedure for a SCab, SCrew has the rear seat removal, and shows it in the same place as the 2004 shop manual for BSM removal.
