Folks, I just recently purchased a SC FX4 and have the slight vibration starting at 50 up to 65 and then gone.

Purpose of this thread is this. This is the 3rd Ford vehicle I have had that had some type of vibration.

1st - '99 Cobra. Had it in multiple times (5 or 6). Ford flew in 2 engineers from Detroit and had my car for 2 days. Vibration never fixed.

2nd - '03 Explorer. Had a highway vibration that started at 70 mph and never went away. Ford could never fix the problem.

3rd - '04 SC FX4. The vibe is very slight at 50 - 65.

I have no clue as to what could be the common denominator in all these vehicles.

Even though the vibe is a little annoying at times, I have been VERY pleased with my other vehicles.

 

Easy fix.....drive slower than 50 or faster than 65.

Think Ford will hire me as a consultant

 

Sounds like they are getting better to me. Maybe your next vehicle will be vibe free.

 

Maybe it is the driver, try prozak, just kidding. Sounds like you must be on Ford's vibe program. Hopefully they will correct the vibe, if they do, let us all know the fix.

 

I don't want to be a member of the "frequest vibe buyers club"!!
My dad says he's always felt vibe's on their 95 Thunderbird, but he was too lazy to fight over it I guess when they bought it new.

Maybe the next fix will be a steering wheel, console, pedal & seat dampeners?
