what was done to my new old truck today

well have a quality shop one mile from the house....

new old truck went thru 38 point inspection and ....

new .... 116,000 miles

master cylinder
upper and lower ball joints
front wheel bearings
front end alignment
anzo headlights
front side lights


oil/lube rear end was down one quart


two front lug nuts missing- next
two rear lug nuts are locks no removal tool - next

Wow, sounds like it should be in good shape now. Low miles!

What did that set you back?

$1900... was devastating to my funds


master cylinder - would not hold fluid - major pedal now
upper and lower ball joints - amazing how stiff the front end is now ... was able to align tight
front wheel bearings - good to know safer now was needed
anzo headlights - expensive but nice custom look and bright light .... stock were bad yellow
front side lights - clear , functional , reasonable


hope other things stay reasonable .... LOL

I hope it turns out to be a wise investment for you. I've certainly spent those big dollar items now and then. That is what usually motivates me to think about doing the work myself. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

1900 is a good chunk of change, but i think you got a lot done for the money!
