Steering alignment

Hey guys I have a 1998 F1 50 V8 4.6 L I recently tried to align my steering by taking off the steering wheel and put it on the up straightway this seem to actually make it go straight but you still have to drive it with the steering wheel sideways I know there is a way to adjust this but can't seem to find the Bar to adjust this

I'd take it to a shop and get a proper alignment done. Centering the wheel is part of an alignment job.

How much do you think that would cost kind of on a tight budget anyway I can do it myself .......

On a stock height truck an alignment will probably run like $50-75 depending where you go. Locally owned places are generally cheaper. If the truck is lifted they may charge around $20 more.

Unless you own the proper tools to do an alignment (which sounds like you don't) trying to do it yourself may end up with the steering wheel straight but the alignment completely out causing you to wear out your tires prematurely as well as making the truck a lot harder to control on the road.

Isn't there a bar under the truck that you twist that adjusts the steering wheel

No, the tie rods have to be adjusted on an alignment rack.

When I replaced all my front suspension, the alignment cost me $65.....

Have you priced new tires lately??? An alignment is cheaper than replacing a couple of front tires.
