I am getting code 24 on my 1999 F150. I have taken it to local auto body shop so they could check the codes in the computer. They told me that truck thinks the right sliding passenger door is open. Last check I don't have a right sliding door. LOL They think the RCM may just need to be reprogrammed our replaced.

They told me to take it to Ford dealer and they are telling me they are backed up for 3 weeks.

Ya right!
The code is for a safing sensor open 'output' return circuit.
Leave the module and everything else alone.
You must remove power from the system for a few minutes before working on it, lest you blow the bag from a false signal during your work.
