Evap Emission Canister Bracket Rusted Out

I got a P1451 error code - (a bad solenoid) Crawled under the truck and found the unit in a totally rusted out bracket. The only thing holding the unit up is the spare tire! Anyone know if that crossmember/bracket is replaceable or what it's called, or where I can get a new one? (2000 F150 6 cylinder Extended Cab)
Thanks

Yes it can be removed and replaced... it's held in by 4 bolts that go up through the large stamped spare tire brace and thread into the cannister bracket. I just replaced mine not too long ago.... got a new one at the local dealership for, are you ready... $80. Junk yards weren't an option since all the ones I checked on were rusted just as bad or worse than mine.... thumbs up to Ford for the micro thin coating of paint on the underside parts that did nearly nothing to stop everything from rusting.

That's exactly the problem I'm having - they're all rusted out. At this point, $80 sounds good. Mine is so rusted, I can't tell if it was riveted in, bolted or welded. Do you know and did you have to take the bed off to install the new one?
Thanks

Access to it is wonderful once the bed is off but I am sure that you can do it with the bed on once the spare tire is out of the way.

Just found on online. Nobody in here in New England seems to have any because they rust out. Found one in Tennessee. Canister and bracket for $25.00 & $15. for shipping. They apparently have tons of F150 stuff. Anyone interested it's:

Browsing that website for parts trucks for fun. Wow, lots of them have been burned to the ground!! I would live to hear the stories of how those trucks ended up like that!!
Sorry off topic, just an observation.

Don't bother going to the Ford Dealer for the bracket - its discontinued!
I did end up buying a used canister on ebay that included the bracket - just a little sand blasting and paint - good as new - until the winter salt takes its toll....
Had to grind the old bolts off as there was nothing left to the bracket.
Heres my b4/after pics

When will the regulate undercoating! It seems if vehicles are sold in high salt areas - there should be some state/fed aid or requirements to protect a 30-40,000 vehicle!

Yeah, right. Get your locals to quit using salt and the problem goes away.

Wash your truck frequently in winter. They use salt here and I dont have a rusting issue but I wash it weekly when the roads get salty.
