F150 Rear Lowering...

hey everyone, i just finished lowering my truck... i put a set of Ground Force springs up front and love the stance up front but i went with a set of JLP shackles in the back and its just not low enough for me... too much rake to it... i was wondering what was the best way to get it down a little more to level it out... i don't want to take a leaf out so i was thinking something like a flip kit or if someone makes a front hanger set?

Drill out the rivets for the front hanger and drill the holes in the frame an inch higher.

Hangers, or get replacement leaf springs.

JMC moving it up 1" would only net 1/2" of drop. And I prefer my frame to not look like swiss cheese, especially where the suspension bolts up to it.

It will not show because the hanger will hide the old holes. How much drop do you want? Add an inch.....

i heard the leaf springs were not a good way to go... i think i'm going to get some hangers... Western Chassis has some that are adjustable...

i agree with Patman... the more holes you drill will cause stress in that area... its not really about hiding the holes as cracking that i'm worried about... it still has to pull my car (2005 Mustang GT)... and its around 3500lbs...

Neal the HP Freak drilled his frame and drove the truck and even towed with it for years. But if you are not comfortable with that I fully understand.
