Running Boards Rattle

My 03 Regular cabs stock running boards rattle like crazy over bumps. I have tightened down the 4 bolts that mount directly to the pinch weld. However it looks like has more bolt holes higher up, however my truck has no bolts there or ever threads for bolts to go into. Can anyone tell me what I am missing or even take a pic of their stock set up to show me what I am missing?

Or if anyone has any aftermarket black ones they recommend I am all ears

Thanks

there should be 2 clip nuts in the body at the top of each bracket. This would be a great time to take our running boards and throw them in the trash (I don't like 'em)

The girlfriend needs them on the lifted truck. Unless you have any sweet aftermarket ideas where can I get those clip nuts? Thank you for your post!

those clip nuts are fairly common. Ace hardware, Lowes, auto parts stores, etc.

best bet is to remove one that's already on your truck, and match it up at the store.
