2001 Lariat Keyless Entry Code

Hey Folks... my younger brother is up for a while from Kentucky in his new-to -him 2001 Lariat SCab 5.4 4x4. I am already jealous because he has leather seats, power sliding window and turn signals incorporated into the mirrors housings. The nerve of this guy showing up with a better model

Anywho, he has the door keypad entry system... but no code for it. I did a search, and read a code is suppose to be hidden somewhere under the dash. But where exactly... wasn't stated.

He's gone out to wash the truck and then we are gonna post pics, but I said in the meantime I would try to find out where to get this code from. Supposedly his local dealer told him they could not get the code for him and it would have to be re-programmed... with no guarantees. What say you?? Thanks

Just did a Google search and it led me back to our forum. Yet the forum search did not give me this answer... so here it is:

If anything differs from this, please LMK.. thanks guys. Gonna look for this when he gets back and then post pics

Thanks Wayne. We did find the code and works as it should. Won't be long till he realizes the value of our Forum His first mod is going to be the Gotts Mod.... courtesy of me... since I do have extra PVC pipe left after my install If we get a few good days while he is still here, I'm gonna clay bar it and put on the paint sealant I got from AutoGeek

Yeah, since he doesn't know about clay bars and such, as I didn't either till I came to the Forums. Just want to show him the results of what I have learned from here
