Installed the MadEnterprise Valvebody...

I installed his kit in my 02 FX4 SC with 5.4, I was having 3-4 problems and I believe I found the problem. But there was a "plunger" in the pan?? Not sure where it came from. Trans shifts fine now!!
3-4 accumulator spring..well whats left anyways

Mystery piece

Good news on your transmission shifting well again. As for the pluger, its a dust plug that they plug the tube with at the factory. Once they put the stick in it pushes the plug into the tranny pan. I did a tranny fluid and filter change on mine, and have my dust plug on display to see for everyone who enters my house.

Do you tell them it's a dust plug.... for a trans. Or wait for them to guess what kind of plug it is

That plug means you were the first person in your tranny. It being 10 years old i Hope you replaced the filter.

I'm sure you did, but wow 10 years on a filter!
