Coolant smell from vents
Interesting development in the last couple months, I've been smelling coolant when the A/C or heater runs. It's not constant by any means but disconcerting at any rate.
I don't have the typical fogging on the windshield, the floor is bone dry, coolant levels have remained constant and the heater core/hoses were replaced less than two years ago by the dealer.
Any thoughts on what it could be? Should I be concerned?

Well, I managed to get it swapped out this weekend. Went ok I suppose. Discovered two plastic washers on the ground during reassembly (after passenger side was buttoned up) and could not imagine that they just fell off the core as I went back inside to put it on. Went ahead and finished, pressured up.. road tested and no leaks anywhere, so I'm hoping that they were from something else and not from the QD lines. Ugh.. what a pain if I have to go back in. haha
