Over-cab lights?

I've got a 2000 F150 EXT CAB Flareside, just wondering how big of a deal it is to install over cab lights? I was gonna order a smoked out lens set on this site I'm ordering smoked out tail-lights, 3rd brake lights both LED and halo projector headlights.

So Complicating
Its not very hard, the kit comes with all of the wiring you need and all you have to have is a drill and some silicone to seal it up. You just have to be willing to drill about 25 holes in your roof, which is what has kept me from installing them on my 2004. Several people on here have put them on there f150s and they look great, especially if the truck is lifted.

So Complicating
You have to remove the visors so that you can pull the headliner down enough to run the wiring and you wire it into the running lights. I think theres a how-to on how to install cab lights in the how-to section.

Run the wires in bewtween the headliner and snake them somewhere down the trim on the inside to wherever they're gonna get power from. And then of course the other wire to ground.

Dang beat me to it haha.

i put a knock off go recon smoked kit on my truck, i drilled 3 holes per light. ran the wires down the a pillar into the running light switch and took power off it so when i put running lights on the cab lights come on. was easy and straight forward.

And when you have all your lights on cab lights are on too? I'm gonna be putting super duty mirrors in it too and running it through the same thing haha will that be too much or?

yes when i have all light on they are on, like i said i wired them into my running light switch. so when i turn my running lights on the cab lights comeon as well. and nope, i plan on buying the fortress towing mirrors with turns and leds in them as well. i love the way they look. i just spent 2500 on my harley though, mirrors are next to come.

Which light kit are you all ordering?? Is it the super duty kit or is there a generic kit that y'all used?

I've really been thinking about doing this on mine, but didnt know which kit to go with. Thanks!

I know ebay sells them, but I'm pretty sure they're all universal fit.
