Over-cab lights?

I've got a 2000 F150 EXT CAB Flareside, just wondering how big of a deal it is to install over cab lights? I was gonna order a smoked out lens set on this site I'm ordering smoked out tail-lights, 3rd brake lights both LED and halo projector headlights.

Its not very hard, the kit comes with all of the wiring you need and all you have to have is a drill and some silicone to seal it up. You just have to be willing to drill about 25 holes in your roof, which is what has kept me from installing them on my 2004. Several people on here have put them on there f150s and they look great, especially if the truck is lifted.

You have to remove the visors so that you can pull the headliner down enough to run the wiring and you wire it into the running lights. I think theres a how-to on how to install cab lights in the how-to section.

Run the wires in bewtween the headliner and snake them somewhere down the trim on the inside to wherever they're gonna get power from. And then of course the other wire to ground.

Dang beat me to it haha.

i put a knock off go recon smoked kit on my truck, i drilled 3 holes per light. ran the wires down the a pillar into the running light switch and took power off it so when i put running lights on the cab lights come on. was easy and straight forward.

Which light kit are you all ordering?? Is it the super duty kit or is there a generic kit that y'all used?

I've really been thinking about doing this on mine, but didnt know which kit to go with. Thanks!

I know ebay sells them, but I'm pretty sure they're all universal fit.
