My trucks progress

Since i've never made an actual "build" thread, i figured it was time. With a few more mods on their way this week.

A little back story first. Got the truck when i turned 16, had 86k miles on it (just rolled 91k last week). I never had any intentions on modding it, until i started looking around the internet. After having it 2 years, my senior year of high school. got sideswiped on a monday at school. the follow friday, hit in front of our house. Great week none the less.

This is what i had to work with:

Nothing crazy, just alot of rake, and miss matched tires.

I ended up putting in the k&n cai. probably wasnt worth the money, but it was done and over with. Then some L heads. And a Lund Genesis seal and peel tonnaeu

I then knew i wanted some new wheels, and with a drop in mind for the future, i planned it out, and purchased the Enkei RT6's wrapped in Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 in a 255/55/18. Their a little wide, but thats how i liked them.

Ran around a few months like this, then the fun began.

the 3/4 Belltech drop kit was being installed. Finished project:

The chosen tires filled it in perfectly. Not the 20's everybody runs around with, but enough rim to look at, and give it a sporty look.

The truck sat like this for almost a year iirc

i needed some change. so i went with clear corners.

And other parts began to trickle in..

And that is where i am at currently. They should be done his week, with still many future plans(listed below).

Expy console
Painted interior plastics
Custom seats
2 10's for my downfire box
Fiberglass tonnaeu (?)
Rollpan
Smooth bed rails
Smooth steps
Shaved tailgate/fenders
Hidden hitch (yes i still use it as a truck in the summer)
Aftermarket hood
Repaint
Built engine/trans
Possibly another 2 inches of drop

Gonna subscribe to this. That bumper is gonna give it a whole new look in the front. I know mine did. You should see the box mine came in. About as long as yours but it is at least 10 times wider. It barely hung over the tailgate with the tonneau cover up. Mine is fiberglass, I love it.

I meant the tonnaeu cover is fiberglass. The bumper is too but part of my old one is behind it.

Do have to say the amber corners looked better than the clear reflector ones
