obx headers

where would be the best place to find some obx full length headers? i looked on summit but they had nothing for my truck. i have a diffrent exhaust system from pace setter would that make a diffrence to weather or not i can get obx full length headers? also how much fabraction is involved with putting full length headers on?

thanks that works nicley. Did you get yours with the high flow cats on it or did you just get the headers? If its worth it to get the high flow cats for better exhaust flow i will. i guess my next question is are the high flow cats worth it?

I opted for the catted version so I wouldn't have to mess with it. There are lots of OBX header threads out there if you advanced title search in the exhaust forum for the info. Helped me greatly.

Can't wait to get them on!

i found a nice pair for 650 with cats. i typed in full length but theres nothing to really tell me weather or not they are shortys or full length i just would like to know. Are you planning on installing them yourslef

Try *LT* or long tube. You could also try OBX header or header.

Patman03SprCrw is installing them for me. I also bought O2 extensions and Stage 8 locking header bolts.

well thanks for all your help. my uncle and i were able to install my cat back exhaust. it dint take more than 3 hours. i was wondering if this would be another easy thing to do. im just wondering if the fact that i have a diffrent exhaust if the headers will match up to it

Well as long as the catback kit comes from the stock exhaust header location you should be fine. Other than that an exhaust shop may have to make the connection for you.

got mine from ebay .... i never saw a catted version i did see a resonator version whicb is what i have and with the resonators and the hi flows its still extremely loud and as far as o2 sensor bungs the resonators have none so unless you got a custom tuned programmer hi flows with o2 bungs are almost a must cause im throwing a cel code with the o2 sensors in the hi flows i cant imagine how bad itd be with my o2s in the o2 bungs that are in the tubing on the beginning of the resonator pipe and everywhere else

my truck is the 2000 ford f150 5.4. i wonder if i just talk to the coustmer sales person if i could get all the sensors and everything i need so i dont throw error codes and then just install it all at once. how much louder are the high flow cats?
