I have a 2001 f150 (bought it new) It has been a great truck - no problems until several weeks ago. I drove about 20 miles. Pulled up to a stop sign. Engine ran rough for about 10 seconds and quit. Cranked engine it fired but would not start. Called AAA and while waiting tried to start several times but no start. After about 20 minutes tried again and it started right up as it always has for 10 years. Drove home and the problem has gone away. Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this? Engine temp was normal, half a tank of gas (from same place I always gas up) 5.4 liter engine 4wd auto trans, 170K miles all maint done. No problems before or since but I'm nervous. Thanks for any help.
