Average cost for front windshield replacement?

Gunna contact the guy that normally takes care of this for us but just wondering what others are paying?

Went snowboarding in Tahoe last Sat and got a nice long crack (3ft+) in my windshield as the temps dropped to -8* F

A good installation should cost no less than $200, $250 average.

Don't put your health or even life in danger just to save a hundred dollars.
