Which Motorcraft Plugs for 1999 4.6?

This has probably been asked before, but what is the correct motorcraft plug for my 1999 F-150 with the 4.6 Windsor? Auto parts stores list 2 different ones - SP413 (Original Equipment Nickel Spark Plug) and SP432 (Original Equipment Finewire Single Platinum Spark Plug). Truck only has 69,000 on it but being the tinkering type, I may change them soon.

I believe they are both the right plug, ones a nickle plated plug, ones platinum. I would opt for the platinum.

Use the Iridium Fine wire. Motorcraft has one for yours.

Thanks everybody! I'll go with the SP432s. Kinda funny that they're the same price. Now I need to decide when to do them. I plan on cleaning the TB and checking the mpgs soon too.

Yea, their all good, some just have a healthier longevity. I'll list them -

1. Single Plat
2. Double Plat
3. Iridium

Iridium being the best. They still don't have Iridium's (Motorcraft) for the 5four, but I believe they do for the 4six, go figure. I had to go with Denso's for good fine wire. Good Plugs so far. Mileage went up a little for me, but that doesn't happen for everyone.

Who sells motorcraft iridiums? O'reilly, Autozone, and Advance don't list them online.

For an Iridium, you would either go with "Denso" or "NGK". Like I said, ALL are good plugs. An Iridium fires better, longer. Stick within those tree manufacturers. -

Motorcraft
Denso Iridium
NGK Iridium

Motorcraft offers the fine wire plat. That's the best one there for Motorcraft.

BTW- I must have confused their fine plat for a fine wire Irid. Not sure, I thought they made an Iridium, for something ?
