truck wont start

truck wont start

hey guys i have a 2000 f150 4x4 5.4 well last nite i finished up changing the tie rod ends , pitman arm, and idler arm on my truck, evrrything was cool till i got my tires back on and took it off the jack stands , so i tried to start it and i get only a lil click , now im thinking it is the battery cuz i had left the key on for a coulpe of hours, but i put in my dads battery and still only a lil click, no wi removed the starter relay put a new one and same problem only now i get no p[ower in the cab.has anyone had this problem???? please help me guys i need to fix it today cuz i have to work tomorrow, thanks guys for any help

It does sound like your batt I don't know what your dad has but it might not have the power to turn it over either. I would either charge or try to jump start your truck. IF that doesn't work have some one turn your truck over and bang on the starter, if it starts at this point you need a starter.

Most likely cause is corrosion of the wires to the starter.
