removing dash

I need some help on getting my dash out. I don't want to break anything on my 99' F-150. I need to replace the lighter panel, so just the dash over the steering wheel, and radio. Thanks

if you want to take your whole dash out, be prepared to have 2 days to work on it. There are a helluva lot of screws to take out and you should disconnect the battery and de-energize the airbag system. You will have to drop the steering column. I would recommend investing 25.00 for a Haynes manual before taking this on

to get to what you need search for led cluster swap article by raptor05121 and the only difference is the headlight switch in your truck pops out with a screw driver, takes about 30 minutes max

Cluster Swap : https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...r-97-03-a.html

Sounded like he wanted to remove the entire top section of the dash
